On Sabbatical: a three year, round the world sailing adventure by Jeanne Kenaston
From August 1979 to June 1982, two years and ten months, we sailed 30,000 miles from Seattle, Washington to Port Canaveral, Florida. With today’s technology it doesn’t seem like much, but in 1979, it was a leap of faith and it wasn’t without some trepidation that we ventured forth. This book is dedicated to our family and friends, without whom this voyage would not have been possible. Through their support and encouragement we were lucky enough to be able to live our dream. Our families carried us in their hearts over the oceans of the world, sending greetings and care packages. Just $26.00

Why Do People Die?
Three silly penguins and loving approach to a difficult subject
by Steven Skelley writing as S.E. McWilliams
The loss of a friend, pet or family member can be devastating. I wrote “Why Do People Die?” to look at the question from a child’s view. In my book, a family of cute penguins discusses this mystery and finds a simple and comforting way to let love heal a questioning heart.
I do not consider myself an illustrator but I had a picture in my mind for this book. I knew I wanted to create a family of penguins. I spent several months trying different mediums from felt board characters to paper dolls to coloring book characters. The finished product was hand drawn characters using a trusty Sharpie marker.
